I’ve been working on a project for a little while to share my mother’s artwork and carry her creativity into what I do. The Little Altars Collections were her pride and joy, and I grew up watching her spend hours placing sequins, gems, and pearls to create these beautiful and elaborate collages. I now have prints available on my website and with me at vending markets that were created with the last of her original works that I own. Having them with me at markets makes it feel like she’s there with me, cheering me on! Thank you for appreciating her art and supporting her dream! KATHLEEN LOVES YOU!!! 💚💛💜
Get her prints from the link in my bio!
Thanks to @benjaminwrightcoleman for printing these for me and bringing this project to life!

My dad lived the fullest life of anybody I’ve ever known. Full of worldly travels, friends, and dinner parties, he lived purely and freely. Even though we came later into his life, he told us frequently that having me and my brother was the highlight of his life. It was a privilege getting to be your daughter, I’ll carry your love with me for the rest of my life. Rest easy now, Papa. ❤️🩹
I’ve spent my entire life being an artist; a painter, a poet, pens and paper, collages, stickers, and zines. I’ve built my life and career off of these building blocks. But music has always spoken to me, and been a way to express myself when art could not. Spending just over 2 years in Deep Ellum has exposed me to the rich music culture Dallas has to offer and shown me music I’ve loved beyond punk moshing and head banging. Folk and the blues have gotten me through these years of change and grief so I’m excited to start a new creative adventure of picking up an instrument myself. I did my research, busted my ass at vending markets to save up, and found the instrument that called to me the most; this vintage 1974 Alvarez 5 string banjo. Now this beauty has a story and personality all his own that I’ll talk about more of in the future but for now I’m diving deep into learning a new love. I hope those of you who have followed me for my art will continue on with me through this new venture. Don’t worry, I’m not stopping making art or vending, I’ve got lots of merch, plans, and projects coming so please stay tuned for more to come. Much love! 🖤
