Anyone else notice this weird optical illusion with the background checkers? Looks sorta curved.. all lines made with a ruler back there. Or am I cross eyed?
Painted this to submit to a show/contest. “Desert conspiracy” (did you know multiple ravens are called a conspiracy!?) It’s huge! 41x48. Done with fluorescent inks so the color doesn’t come across well here. But it’s also black light reflecting, and that’s a fun bonus. Sitting in the dark now with that glowing at me is nice.
Thought a lot about this one and really worked outside my bounds doing something so large. I hope you like it!
