Checking in to show a bit of what weâve been up to, and to let you know that Rosary Guild will be playing a very special set on 1/31 as part of âCelebrate Music: Pittstonâ Festival.
The ever-lovely Dan King and Chelsea Smarr will be joining us on cello and harp, and it would mean the world to us if you came to hear it.
There will be lots of great music happening all day throughout Pittston during the festival, stop and listen to the roses.
These Elk Forever (Gregory H. Gover of S. Pine AK) recorded five songs in an old church with a production crew led by Will McHale (of Rosary Guild) on the night of April 29, 2015. It was a total blast. Until now, only Will and Greg have seen this video. Theyâre releasing two of the five songs todayâand perhaps the other three someday if folks are interested. Both âVipers At Your Birthday Partyâ and âBlue Ridgeâ are included on These Elk Foreverâs 2013 album entitled If I Never Come Home (released on cassette by Lonesome Waltz Records).
âChurch Mouse began as an idea to record musical performances in a repurposed church in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Shortly after the initial filmings, life happened, a portion of the crew involved had moved out of the area, and the project never saw the light of day. 10 years later, hereâs the first and only completed episode resurrected from an old hard drive.â
