Seedbombs are a staple tool in a guerrilla gardener’s 🧑🏽🌾 arsenal, letting you “throw and grow.” They blend clay, compost and seeds and can be scattered in neglected spaces without you getting your hands and knees dirty. 🌱
Concrete outweighs every tree, 🌳 bush and shrub worldwide so it’s imperative that we bring biodiversity back into urban areas. 🦋🐛🐝

Natural dyeing is an ancient art craft that is making a comeback into modern society as we search for ways to adopt slower, greener and self sufficient ways of living. Not only is it a creative solution to disrupt the vicious cycle of fast fashion, natural dyeing is an accessible way to connect with nature (especially if you live in a city!).
Join @ecodyestudio for an online beginner course in natural dyeing with food waste and flowers. You’ll learn the basics of natural dyeing and how to transfer natural colour to fabric using a contemporary technique called Bundle Dyeing. By the end of the class you will have created a one-of-a-kind piece made by you and Mother Nature herself!

Thankyou thankyou thankyou to every person who helped this database come together in whatever form, by sharing it, by offering help and guidance, by putting themselves on the list — every person who maybe didn’t see themselves as a proper ‘artist’ or ‘creative’ but who put themselves out there and took up the space they deserve to take up — I appreciate you.
I hoped that this database would spark conversations and awareness and act as a jumping off point for more things to come about — I’m really happy to say that @adam.terrible is working on making a website directory for black creatives that I can’t wait to see out in the world!!
This isn’t the beginning though, loads of people have BEEN doing the work and BEEN supporting and uplifting black creatives already. Spaces like @blackonblackcreative and @runthecheck and so many others have been working hard to open up the industry for us all.
I’m excited for things to come ❤️
