Today, at @rootdownla ’s garden volunteer day, it was a celebration of the earth. In honor of #earthday, @lacompost hosted an info session on all things #compost! From learning the essentials to making some of our own, it was pretty amazing seeing nature at work. In the garden, some of the corn is now standing at 5’0 feet from its humble beginnings as a seedling, native flowers bloom to attract pollinators, and apples were reading for picking.
