First match since my injury. I am definitely not recovered, but I made it through. I am really going to feel it tomorrow. Made a lot of blunders, but I also had some solid stages. Overall finishing 9th in LO, I will take it as a win considering I am basically an one arm bandit. I love shooting at Thurmont and I am glad this was my first match back. Also helped a lot having @phonjang2.0 shooting with me. @kapsatraining @newgrandmart @blackdotammunition @redhilltactical @gofastdontsuck

Not the best run I had this weekend, but still a CO stage win. I saw some others engaging it a different way, and perhaps I should have tried. First outdoor match since December. Huge thank you to @quantico_practical_shooters , @tmh_shooting , all the volunteers, and everyone who came out to make it such a great weekend. The weather stayed mostly cloudy, but it turned out to be perfect for shooting. The vibes were awesome and it looked like everyone had a blast on the range. First LO match since November, and first outdoor match of the year. Felt rusty, but it was great being outside shooting with some great people. Also, I really do miss shooting my @atlasgunworks Athena. Good match to build on for the season. Great to be back at @quantico_practical_shooters Also, my first match with Insta360 3S. This is pur 4th year of donating ramen. KAPSA will be donating ramen in support of the Korean “Frozen Chosin” Annual Match held at the QPS match. This match is held in remembrance of the Marines who fought and endured the brutal winter conditions of the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. It’s a chance to honor their sacrifice, build community, and enjoy a great day on the range together. Registration is open on practiscore. We’ll also have ramen, kimchi, and Korean chocopies available for participants to enjoy while shooting. Last USPSA match for 2025. Started off with a malfunction and just being sluggish. But, was able to pick it up and ended up with 8th in CO/11th over all. First time shooting GRB. Squad was rather large, but full of good people, and good vibes. I had a good time. Did have dot issues again with the sun washing out my dot, and also making my dot sun burst to a rather large size. Folks are telling me Holosun 507 comp will come out with a 6 MOA. I will be switching to that. Overall, good way to end the 2025 competition season. USPSA classifier match at @quantico_practical_shooters . It Was Cold 🥶 Towards the end the clouds blocked the sun and the wind kicked in. My fingers were frozen solid. Did not do well. Also, I decided to shoot Limited 10 minor with my G47. L10 you really need to shoot major power factor ammo. If I actually want to shoot this division seriously, I will need to get at least a G22. Still had a lot of fun even though I was cold and couldn’t really feel my toes towards the end 😂 @kapsatraining @newgrandmart @blackdotammunition @redhilltactical @gofastdontsuck

I started in Carry Optics almost three years ago, and today I finally earned the M card. Not as cool as the guys making GM, but I’m proud of this one. Even better: I made both LO and CO M class at @coraxtraining ’s USPSA match — the same club where I shot my very first match back in March 2023. I found that somewhat fitting. Time to keep grinding and become the best paper M in the DMV area 😂💪

PCSL 2 gun match @shadowhawkdefense . Lessons learned today is that I still know nothing about rifles, and I probably should abandon the LPVO. Just couldn’t get the hang of it even with dry fire. I mean at the distance we are shooting at these matches probably should just shoot a red dot. Even with G47, I was having issues with the sun washing out the red dot. Really couldn’t see shit. Regardless I still had a blast shooting with @phonjang2.0 @consistentlyclose @chainsawshoots @steel_teamsix @no.penalty.mike . Even though I shot like 💩I had a great time. Weather definitely was nicer than expected. Plus, got to see @ortacusa . It was a good day. And didn’t have to use an AK. Just fumbling around with my AR.
