Had a super shitty day on Saturday.
Couldn’t sleep right until I got a little vindication on this stage 😅
Open Division finally started feeling like ME again.
Aggressive movement. Trusting the sights. Letting the gun eat.
Ended up 2nd on the stage at 99.43% and only 0.80 points off the top spot. Close enough to sting… but also close enough to remind me I’m still right there.
Sometimes you need one good stage to quiet the noise in your head.

@quantico_practical_shooters ran another great match this weekend. I decided to shoot Limited Optics today and started with my 5” @race_city_defense RC9, after I asked @gunthinks if he wanted to try it for the last two stages I switched to the RCD Core. This gun continues to amaze me.
I was shooting @ncshooters 135gr 9mm.

Back to single stack division for @quantico_practical_shooters Frozen Chosin match. Shooting iron sights is always a blast and the 8 round mags forces more thought throughout the stage planning. I didn’t shoot as well as I would have liked but it was still a fun day shooting with everybody in my squad.

I was able to shoot an all alpha run today at @quantico_practical_shooters USPSA. Although it was a clean run, the 4 make up shots cost me time.
I’m ready to have more matches at Quantico and @tmh_shooting did a fantastic job directing the first match back.
