It follows an obsessive pursuit of sound, the revival of vinyl pressing plants by a new generation, and how vinyl is now consumed as an “experience.” Through the lens of Kompakt Record Bar, the film captures this convergence of past, present, and future across audio, records, and DJ culture. 한국 오디오 마켓의 뿌리인 “세운상가”를 중심으로, 사운드를 향한 집요한 집착, 새로운 세대들에의해 재가동된 바이닐 프레스 공장, 그리고 바이닐을 ‘경험’으로 소비하는 새로운 세대들의 시선을 따라, 서울의 Kompakt Record Bar의 시각으로 Audio, Record, DJ를 둘러싼 과거와 미래가 만나는 지금의 모습을 담았습니다.

The darkness of the velvet blocks illumination and serves as a surface of depth. On this surface, the flowers become another form of language, igniting themselves in contrast. In the space of separation, the color and vitality of the flowers intensify, and existence appears more strongly in its isolation. This work examines a scene where obstruction and splendor, silence and vitality, separation and creation confront each other, directing attention to the balance within such contrasts of existence. 간재훈 사진작가 간재훈은 환호와 침묵, 중심과 주변 사이를 오간다. 그는 모두에게 사랑받는 다양한 아티스트들의 모습을 기록함과 동시에, 그 빛 뒤에 가려져 아무도 바라보지 않는 감정과 존재들에 시선을 돌린다. 화려함과 소외, 환상과 진실 사이에서 그의 사진은 대비되는 두 세계를 동시에 호흡하는 매개체가 된다. Photographer Khanjaehun moves between celebration and silence, between the center and the margins. He records the presence of artists loved by many, while also turning his gaze to emotions and existences hidden behind the light, unseen by anyone.
