In celebration of Arts Month, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement to share our newest collaboration 🕺💃 Together with Tiny Blessing Foundation @_tinyblessings , in partnership with Steps Scholarship Foundation, we are launching a dance program created especially for the children of the foundation, a space where movement becomes an outlet, a language, and a source of joy. This program is about giving children the freedom to explore their bodies, express their stories, and discover confidence through dance. Small steps, gentle guidance, and a lot of heart, this is where creativity begins. We are also very happy to share that our dance artist Ronieth Dayao @ronieth.dayao @ronieth.dance a teacher under the LikhaPH Outreach Program for Dance, will be facilitating the classes and holding this space with care, patience, and intention. We truly look forward to a beautiful and meaningful collaboration, and we thank Steps Scholarship Foundation for believing in the power of the arts and making this initiative possible. immersion may fuel more interest. always been fascinated wt neuroscience in performance so i took up a course for that. teaching these girls made me want to learn more and be a better coach. exciting how taking this new neuroscience course specifically on dance will play out! ✨💖

happy world ballet day! 2017-ronieth dreamed of becoming a professional ballerina. that’s her only dream… so when insecurities and burnout got the best of her… she lost meaning to everything but the Lord really do care and know His children no? God used ballet (smthg dear to me) as a platform to help me realize how my worth is in Him and not in what my body looks like. i thought He’s gonna take dance away from me as i come close to Him but the opposite happened… it flourished even more. (opportunities to dance, learn, teach, and create). and im grateful that He gives me opportunities not just to dance but to lead other dancers. (contemporary dance ❤️) how can the Lord entrust us with gifts even if He knows our history and our tendencies? 🥺 grace. —— and if God, being THE GOD, entrusts us with gifts even if He knows our limits… why are we doubting ourselves so much “if we can do it?” when the Lord, Himself, already believes in us? #ballet #contemporarydance

“God, why does it have to be so hard for me?” i remember saying that in front of the altar in our house after having a breakdown because i felt like my best wasnt always enough… it’s still vivid up to now how the Lord answered me that time which became my foundation now. “I dont care much about how you look, but I care more about your heart.” i was struggling with body insecurity before and that nudge from Him helped me to show up every dance class. my fear and insecurity was overcome by His assurance <3 and His assurance led me to where i am now… still dancing, now teaching other dancers, and hopefully inspiring them as well that it’s not the teachers or other people they are pleasing, but the One who so much believes in them. (truth is: we dont have to prove anything to Him, He supports us in the journey and accompany us along the way!) hayss, my dance journal before was mostly filled with “why Lord?” (why does it feel like it’s unfair?) my journal now is still also filled with “why Lord?” (why do You love and bless me so much regardless of everything?🥺) grace. —— 1st vid: 2025, first official pop up class of contemporary at @spac3_ph 2nd vid: 2017, summer ballet recital in aliw theater 3rd photo: my 1st ever ballet recital back in 2008 (or 2009?) hihi, salamat Lord so much. i didnt plan all of this, i gave up already back in 2018, but it seems like Youre not done with me yet hihi

when i want to “lay down and see everything” first before taking a step, the Lord’s invitation is to take a step with Him in the unknown. the outcome doesnt matter as MUCH as the relationship with Him that can grow in the journey. ok Lord, parang naka volume 100x ka ata, i heard i heard hahaah
