I remember it like it was yesterday when I had that conversation with
@onlyoneclaudia and we bonded over our love of Studio 54. She mentioned I should watch the Dsquared 20th Anniversary fashion show. I absolutely fell head over heels for it and told her how much I loved it. In that moment, I manifested having my own Dsquared moment one day.
Fast forward to now, after being cast in
@rchive.ca |
@tofw.ca 2025. I didnโt think much of it at first and was just running to fittings. I finally met
@sierrahighfield and
@slesean.tv was there too. I thought, this is giving DSQUARED2. Then I met Stacey, the designer behind the brand, and saw my outfit. They were going to put me in a wig and I think I screamed. After some alterations, I got my second fitting and the look came together perfectly.
Show day at
@bbishopairport , I saw the lineup and all the looks on everyone with the make up team ran by
@ehmulsify and hair slayed by
@hair.priestess . Thatโs when I realized I didnโt need my Dsquared2 moment after all. Thatโs when ROMONE ROSS was born and I actually needed my
@brainonplants moment all along.
This was probably the first time I really let my personality shine on the runway rather than just being bold and serious. One for the books, a show Iโll never forget, and the moment ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ truly came to life.
