Take 25% off The Mystery Path ebook with code Pathway25 through 27 March 2026 Pacific time 🌟 . I’ve got something new for you today! This is Frizzle, a simple and beautiful study in texture (knit on US 8 needles!), and the bonus pattern in my Mystery Path 2025 ebook, breaking apart all the techniques from my 2025 mystery shawl, Funston, into smaller bite-sized shawls (and a scarf!) that you can knit up quickly. This one takes just one skein of @hedgehogfibres kidsilk lace and joins A Splash of Sunlight, I Left My Heart, and The Avenues in a mini capsule collection inspired by San Francisco. Some of you said you felt a little unsure about whether you could tackle the full mystery shawl, so I’m hoping this is a fun little pathway to show how much you really CAN do. 💙 The ebook is called The Mystery Path and you can get it on my site or Ravelry for 25% off with code Pathway25 through 27 March 2026 Pacific time - I hope you’ll give it a try! (And don’t forget it’s almost the mystery time of year again) 🧶 . Sending out calm, peace, and kindness to you all! Be well 🐈‍⬛ 💙🌈 🕊️ . . . #knitlove #laceknittting #knittingpatternsale

Hey hey, my knitting friends! Yesterday I mentioned my Mystery Path ebook - that seafoam green shawl I’ve been working on is going to be in there. And here’s the pattern that has already been released! A Splash of Sunlight takes one skein each of @bichesetbuches le petit lambswool and le petit silk & mohair. I love this yellow so much! The ebook breaks apart all the techniques from my 2025 mystery shawl, Funston, into smaller bite-sized shawls that you can knit up. And the shawl I mentioned that I was working on the other day with the heart shaped double YOs is a part of that. Lots of people said they felt a little unsure about whether they could tackle the full mystery shawl, so I’m hoping this is a fun little pathway to show how much you really CAN do. 💙 It’s called The Mystery Path and you can get it on my site or Ravelry for $5 off with code MysteryBundle2025 - I hope you’ll give it a try! 🌸 . Sending out calm, peace, and kindness to you all! Be well 🐈‍⬛ 💙🌈 🕊️ . . . #knitlove #moreshawlsplease #neverenoughshawls #knittingtips #knittersofinstagram #knittersoftheworld #knitstagram #knitallthethings #knittersofIG #instaknit #knitting #knitdesigner #nevernotknitting #IGknitters #knittingpatternsale #knittingpattern #編み物 #tejer #tricot #strikk #strik #strick #stickat #RomiHill

I actually released this the other day, but I decided to try a gluten free bread recipe instead of posting 😂 (It was delicious, btw). This is Sand Garden, part of my 2024 Lace Lovers club! The construction is based on a modern hap shawl, with the top inner triangle starting at the bottom point and working up to be bound off with a reverse stockinette i-cord. Because the increases are worked as a YO at the beginning of each inner triangle row, it’s super extra simple to pick up the correct number of stitches to continue on. The whole thing finishes up with a knitted-on edging, which gives it a nice scallop and also makes it much easier to stretch and block out properly. The pattern - worked in natural camel/silk lace weight - includes two types of charts plus written instructions, and it’s still available as part of the pattern-only 2024 Lace Lovers ebook. Single pattern in 2025! And if you sign up for my newsletter (link in profile) you get a 15% off coupon for my self published patterns ♥️ . Sending out kindness to you all! 💕🌈🕊️ . . . #knitlove #knitlace #laceknitting #laceknitters #knittersofinstagram #knittersoftheworld #knitstagram #knitallthethings #knittersofIG #instaknit #laceknit #moreshawlsplease #knitdesigner #nevernotknitting #IGknitters #neverenoughshawls #laceshawlknitting #編み物 #tejer #tricot #strikk #strik #strick #stickat #RomiHill

I’m a little embarrassed that I started to post two new patterns and then got distracted 🤦🏻‍♀️ So here they are! These are the first two patterns of my 2026 Lace Knitters Society club. The larger lace weight one is To Plant A Garden, and the smaller fingering weight one is Bosquette. The idea behind this year’s club is that everyone is welcome! There’s the larger more complicated option, and the smaller simpler option based on the same motif. The yarn is by @murkydepthsdyes who does fabulous greens! Although the shipment options are sold out, the pattern only option is still available on Ravelry and designsbyromi.com 🧶 . #laceknitting #shawlknitting #shawlknittersofinstagram

So many people have been buying my Sea Stars pattern today! I don’t know why, but thank you 💙 Psst: they’re shaped with short rows and super fun to knit. A perfect small project that turns out a great little washcloth! The samples are knit in @universal_yarn clean cotton and each one takes less than one skein. Find the pattern on Ravelry or designsbyromi.com 🌊 . #knittedwashcloth #oneskeinproject #knittinglove

You've been waiting and it's finally here - Romi Hill's 2026 Mystery Knit-a-long Kits are now open for preorder! Every year @romidesigns creates a beautiful new shawl pattern and releases one clue a week, over the course of a month. When you embark on this adventure, you do not know what the finished shawl looks like - that's the mystery! This year we are offering three colorways on Floating, Rumor, and Doodle (making its first appearance for the MKAL!). Romi will be using Floating in the golden-hued colorways Promise and Sunbeam to knit her version. All Verb yarns are dyed using plants in our Oakland California studio. Our kits include 2 skeins of yarn in your chosen base and colorway, the mystery pattern as well as premier access to the first pattern clue, and a special shawl pin handmade by Romi herself. There is a group of very enthusiastic people who have participated in this journey over the years - some all thirteen years! They meet on Ravelry for a lively discussion. Feel free to join them or go solo! Hop over to the link in our bio, select your favorite base and colorway, and we will get dyeing for your bundle ASAP.

@knitproeu sent me these gorgeous needles to try out! This is the Stelo Grande interchangeable set with 13 different sizes of 5 inch stainless steel tips from US 2.5 to US 15. There are two each cables of 24, 32, and 40 inches. The tips are stainless with a super smooth finish. The cables are braided stainless, coated so they don’t snag…and they swivel! I love that because I had no problem with the tips working themselves loose as I knit. Then you have a pouch of great little extras: a measuring tape, adorable tiny scissors, stitch markers, cable keys, end caps, and tapestry needle to weave in your ends. All of it fits into a vegan leather case that zips up and fits inside a protective mesh bag. I think the best part is the tips. They’re in that perfect range: not sharp enough to cause damage, but pointy enough to make decreases and special stitches easier. It’s such a satisfying set, and I’ve found that even with the sensory issues I have with some metal needles sets, I can use and enjoy these! I hope you’ll give them a try. I’ve been seeing them more and more online lately! 🧶🌟 . The gorgeous yarn is @symfonieyarns Viva - their DK superwash wool with an amazing palette. . #knittingneedles #knittinglife #knittingtools

I was supposed to take a few simple photos of these @knitpro_usa Stelo needles for our collab, but the light was so pretty! I couldn’t stop myself from completely geeking out with the camera. Honestly, knitting tools are some of the most photogenic objects on earth. . This is the Stelo Grande interchangeable set with 13 different sizes of 5 inch stainless steel tips from US 2.5 to US 15. All of it fits into a case that zips up and fits inside a protective mesh bag. It’s so satisfying. And the exciting part for me? I have sensory issues that mean I can’t use some stainless needles…but I find these a joy to knit with. . The gorgeous yarn is @symfonieyarns - just LOOK at those colors. This is Viva, their DK superwash wool with an amazing palette. I can almost taste some of the colors they are so saturated and vibrant. It’s a random bit of joy in any day, isn’t it? Beautiful yarn and beautiful tools. I find myself appreciating that more and more. . I’ll be back soon with a reel to show you what everything looks like up close! Stay tuned 💙 . #knittingneedles #knittinglife #knittingtools

When I was learning how to knit lace, purling through the back loop definitely stretched my mind, so that’s today’s mini tutorial! Above, I’m working on the bonus pattern for my Mystery Path ebook and it’s such a fun and easily memorized pattern that I’ve been taking it everywhere, because petting soft things makes everything just a little better. Bonus that it’s knit on US 8 needles! Most of the time when I use yarn-overs (YOs), I work the stitch above the YO on the next right side row through the back loop (tbl) to twist the stitch. In this case, it’s on a purl row. Note that my stitches are mounted on the needle with right leg in front and left leg in back (this starting point is assumed in western patterns). Twisting that stitch makes the top of the YO much neater and tidier. Above, I’ve shown both continental (yarn held in left hand) and English (yarn held in right hand). You can find the Mystery Path ebook on Ravelry and designsbyromi.com - the beautiful yarn is from @hedgehogfibres 🧶 lmk what you want to see next! . Sending out calm, peace, and kindness to you all. Hold your dear ones close 🐈‍⬛ 💙🌈 🕊️ . #knittips #knittingtips #knittingtutorials

I trekked down to the road and dug the car and trash can out. Looking up from the road, the actual driveway is left of the car (not that you can see it) 😂❄️ 💪🏼 . #snowday2026❄️☃️💙 #sierranevadas #highdesertsnow
