I have had a release ready since the start of the year.
I've been putting myself out there to try find the right people to work with which is a very vulnerable time. Let's hope it finds a home soon.

To accompany the release of Spirit Phase, Daniel Grima and I collaborated with animation artist Tom Carroll (@egumei ) to create a series of lyric videos that expand the world of the project.
We wanted the visuals to feel fluid and immersive, drawing on water as a central theme. Water becomes a symbol of surrender, of moving with life rather than against it, of letting go. That idea flows directly from the cover art and continues through the wider release.
You’ll also notice the presence of flowers woven throughout, subtle markers of growth, change, and renewal.

‘Dream seed’ from the EP ‘Spirit Phase’ was crafted with some old reverb units and some familiar ambient techno techniques.
Spirit Phase is a collection of six tracks salvaged from a corrupted hard drive. Incomplete, but honest. Instead of trying to recreate what was lost, I chose to let the songs live as they are: raw, minimal, and true to the moment they were captured.
For the fellow music nerds - here’s a breakdown of some musical ideas explored across each track on Spirit Phase:
‘WBHB’
The acoustic guitar was originally recorded at a much faster tempo, then slowed down in Ableton - a deliberate decision to reflect the power of slowing things down, like the breath, especially in moments of anxiety. Lyrically, it wrestles with the push and pull of ego.
‘Spirit Phase’
Built from a session with my good friend and phenomenal drummer Joanna Syme. Jo laid down a series of drum loops, and I found melody within the rhythm - something I often hear in percussive elements. This track grew directly out of that loop’s feel.
‘Dream Seed’
A blend of folk songwriting and ambient techno textures. I focused on crafting sub-rumbles and finding the right reverb to create extended gated effects on the acoustic guitar. Inspired by Aphex Twin’s Selected Ambient Works, I picked up a second-hand Alesis Quadraverb and had a lot of fun shaping the atmosphere.
‘Patterns D1.2 Pad Gtr’
An improvised guitar take over an 808 drum machine. I didn’t tune the guitar beforehand, so the entire piece was composed around its imperfect tuning. I love the sense of space it creates.
‘All of My Love’
Originally improvised as an opener for one of my live shows. Later, with my friend Zachary Degnan, we experimented with having the vocal slightly out of sync in one ear - a subtle nod to Steve Reich. The arrangement builds around the vocal gradually falling back into alignment by the end.
‘Like Rain’
An experiment in avoiding repetition - I challenged myself to write a piece that never lands on the same chord twice, echoing the organic, unpredictable quality of rainfall. I then sent it to the brilliant cellist Peter Hollo, whose contribution gave the track its final emotional shape.
‘All of My Love’ is a collaborative track I made with my good friend @6biscuits . It's an ambient dance piece that explores the quieter, drumless corners of electronic music, where rhythm can come from something other than percussion.
The vocal is the heart of this track. It loops endlessly, split between the left and right ears, each loop slightly different in length. As they drift out of sync, they create polyrhythms that evolve over time. It’s a subtle nod to Steve Reich’s phasing techniques, but also a reflection of how I see love: constant, always present, even if it doesn’t always line up perfectly in the moment.
This song means a lot to me. It sits somewhere between meditation and movement, and I’m really proud to share it with you.

This song sits in the uneasy space between identity and ego. The kind of tension that creeps in when your sense of self gets tangled up in what you make, what you own, or how you’re perceived. It’s about noticing patterns you thought you’d outgrown, watching old habits resurface, and feeling the weight of that repetition.
I think of it as a sad banger.
