Perch Pole 🩶 If someone hadn’t convinced me to try this 8 years ago when I was terrified to touch it, I would have never known the love I would develop for it. It’s one of the few things in my life that forces stillness and calm focus in my mind and reminds me that the conditioning for it is worth it.

October 1st marks the official start of spooky season but more importantly it is my darling princess’ birthday. I’ve been with Juniper since she was 6 months old. Today she is now 10 and I cannot imagine my life without her ever. I’ve been bonded to animals many times in my life but never like the one I have with June. We may be a little codependent but I feel immensely lucky to have a companion that has chosen me as her person.
