Absolutely transcendent experience to have Dog Days shuffle on right after hitting 6 miles.
I am SO hyped that I crossed the finish line without ever slowing down or walking. That being said, there's nothing wrong with taking walk breaks (looking at you, Nike). This was a challenge to myself to see if I could still endure over an hour straight of running after being out of the game for a few months due to endo/cysts/surgery. I signed up for this race at the last minute and decided that I would just go out, try my hardest, and have fun. And I ended up surprising myself! I can't wait for my next chance to race. 🏃🏼♀️💕
