The warm day in winter. A seasonal shift that seems the only acceptable time to discuss the weather.
Not a care, cloud or inch of white. Just a frosty wind overcome by bodies on the bay. People getting amongst it.
My stomach drops the more i look at this photo. I love it. I know exact the feeling too.
Vessel: Praktika Super TL w/ Carl Zeiss lense - 200 iso

I didn’t like this photo when i took it. “Too dark”. Post 3 day festival in the hills of Byron. This was the only eye that blinked…boy is it dreamy. Not a word spoken in the car but this one sings.
Overcast brought out the greenery, and Keely’s arm.

Kate Moth…I remember seeing them perform at a house party - Halloween 2024. What the hell? Every band member is obsessed. Ferg sleeps with his drums. Tawny steeze on bass. Finny and Seth on the gee-tar but like chalk and cheese. Good chalk, great cheese. Matthew Abelev, lead singer. Talk about Aura. Just watch ‘em. Glastonbury 2029. @_katemoth is going further.
Captured in their studio before they ripped Pleasure Club a new one in March.
Vessels:
Olympus mju ZOOM black - 400 iso
Olympus mju point and shoot - silver - 200 iso
ROIDS is an ode to the RAW form of capturing. Initially meant for only polaROIDS (get it), however one medium of raw-ness is limiting and I have many raw vessels. Film vessels, that is.
This is a passion. Film derives from passion. It’s a mode of capturing that requires follow through, persistence and all things slowwwwww.
Slow is good. Especially since my life is quite digital. Analogue forms make me feel more like a previous human that banged a few rocks together to make a flame.
I love taking photos of people that intrigue me. Usually that intrigue is individualism. People doing their thing, unapologetically. It’s also nice showing them that same photo when they forgot about it. Film has infinite shelf life.
Everything is unedited. Let your eye and vessel speak for itself. That’s how it should be.
I love film and I hope you enjoy my eye as much as I do.
DM for enquiries. I shoot the first shoot free, whatever that may be…just pay for film and development and you’ve got me xo
