Asma, one of the participants, said that before this she only used to draw in her books with pencil and had never painted on a wall with brushes and colors.
She said, “This is my first time painting on a wall. It feels really special. I never did something like this before. Working with so many colors, with my classmates and artists guiding us, it’s very different from our regular class. I feel really happy doing this. I think I will remember this moment whenever I see colors or any art in the future.”
Rohingya Artolution / Artolution
For almost a week, we’ve been bringing this wall to life through art, with 20 students actively taking part in this creative journey.
Asma, one of the participants, shared that before this, she only used to draw in her books with pencils and had never painted with brushes and colors on a wall.
“This is my first time painting on a wall, and it feels so special. Working with so many colors, learning from amazing artists, and creating something meaningful with my classmates has been such a joyful experience. It’s something unique beyond our regular classroom activities, and this memory will stay with me whenever I see art or colors in the future.”
This experience is not just about painting a mural—it’s about learning, creativity, and creating unforgettable memories together.

At the entrance of Camp 19, this wall now welcomes people with color, memory, and life.
For the local community, this is more than a mural. It reflects stories of nature, childhood, farming, family, resilience, and hope.
Every corner carries something meaningful. Every detail invites us to look closer.

This wall used to be a dumping ground - Today , it holds their voice.
Joynab Sultana Shiffa, a Grade 10 student from Kutupalong High School, saw her school space transform into something powerful.
With support from Artolution , students didn’t just paint a mural, they created a place to express what they feel but rarely get to say.
From silence to self-expression.
From waste to something meaningful.
What does art mean to you?

As always, another large-scale mural is coming to life—created by local community children alongside community artists, with their own hands, their own ideas, and their own voices. For us, perfection is never the goal; what matters most is their feelings, creativity, and sense of ownership. When the mural is complete, they can proudly say, “This is our mural, built from our imagination and our dreams.” That is the true purpose of our work: empowering children to express themselves, claim their space, and turn their vision into something powerful.
