Staying with the Trouble - Call Out for Artists
We’re now inviting submissions for Staying with the Trouble, a fundraiser exhibition supporting humanitarian aid in Palestine.
This show brings together artists who refuse distance, artists working with care, kinship, entanglement, togetherness, and love as active, ethical practices. We’re looking for work that engages with complexity, interdependence, and the fragile ties that bind us in a troubled world.
Submissions are free. Multiple entries encouraged. Deadline: 31st December.
Apply via link in bio or at imprintaustralia.com/apply.
If your practice holds space for love, kinship, solidarity, connection, or the work of staying present with what is difficult, we’d love to see your submission.

This was a fun show made in a couple of months, all the same scale and medium. I wanted to make something cleaner and cropped, in line with similar concepts I’ve previously explored in painting. And it’s my first Summer Solo show which is fun and warm, and maybe better than winter solo idk.

A collection of works I’ve made over the course of my last year of my BFA.
The exhibition will run from
12 - 14 September.
The gallery didn’t feel like a gallery by the time the music started. Hip hop acts tore through the early crowd with tight grooves. Then came the synths, wires spilling over the edge like roots looking for power. The sound of raw machinery, strong enough to make the windows rattle. And all around, geometry without rules. Projections splashing across the walls in pulsing, abstract shapes. Whatever the night was meant to be, it became something else.
