Hello! Iāll be having surgery March 30th!
Itās been something Iāve been waiting for, for a long time and undoubtedly will alleviate chronic neck and back pain Iāve been dealing with for years.
I feel very blessed that insurance will cover the procedure but I will be out of work for 4-6 weeks to recover.
This will set me back approximately $3400 and so Iām asking for help covering
š¹Rent
š¹Bills
š¹other recover expenses
ANYTHING WOULD BE SO HELPFUL!
For a donation of ANY amount just Dm your address and Iāll send you a postcard as a thank you with the art in my post :)

His name is Newport.
Newport has so much mystery surrounding him. Although that sounds somewhat ethereal the truth is that Newportās existence as a Black man in the 1700s was not considered worthy of documentation.
He has been cemented in history only because of his effort to save Ethan Allenās life during their āFamous Rideā together.
Newport clutched the reins of yoked oxen pulling their sled, across the frozen plains of the Winooski River, using only one hand. His other, kept Allenās convulsing body from falling onto the ice during a medical episode.
This went on for four miles.
We donāt know what Newport looked like,
we donāt know how old he was,
we donāt know the exact nature of his āemploymentā under Ethan Allen.
We donāt know if he had any siblings,
his favourite food,
if he liked to whistle,
my point being Newport deserved much more.
The scar running down his arm represents all we know about him but every other coloured shape represents who he was and his unlimited potential stifled by the specific intensity of racism in 18th Century America.
