Yay Sober Spaces for Pride! 🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Family Meeting is a closed meeting for people who identify as LGBTQ+ and are sober or seeking sobriety. This meeting is non-theist and open to people of all faiths. We’ve got a couple dates coming your way this spring, read on for details and an announcement about the future of this event ⬇️ SATURDAY, APRIL 25 @babesvt at 221 Main St, Bethel, VT!! This one’s a fundraiser for Gaza Soup Kitchen and Migrant Justice. 7pm start, $5 at the door + bring extra cash for donations + @lalostaqueria will be selling tacos! @axis.granted will be teaching line dances! Come party with us for a good cause in central VT 🤠 FRIDAY, MAY 22 back at @lastditchbar for a classic two step nite! @taiauts kick things off 7:30pm followed by the Honky Tonk Angels and live band karaoke! @axis.granted will be teaching line dances! We’ll have copies of @holler.at.thehitchingpost for sale 📰 After this we will be pausing two step nite as it currently exists, possibly returning in a different format. This space has meant so much to us and seeing you all co create this sweet space and filling the dance floor and singing karaoke is the fucking best. More on this change later, but for now stay tuned for updates and catch us this spring while ya can! Join us for our annual Basket Bingo fundraiser on April 19th from 11-1pm. All money raised goes toward Bethel Pridefest June 25-27! At the @bethel_arts_center 257 Main Street. 🌸🌺 What is Basket Bingo? Basket bingo is really a raffle! The premise is simple: Businesses and individuals donate themed baskets. At the event, you buy a sheet (or multiple sheets!) of tickets with your number on each one. You rip off your number and put it in the jar in front of the basket of your choice in hopes of winning that basket. Everyone chooses which and how many basket drawings they wish to enter. The winning numbers are drawn, and the baskets go home with the lucky winners! 🌼🌺
