FRIDAY FINDS: Joey Carlino
This Friday we’re excited to share a couple of animations from @robospunk
“Hi, I’m Joey. I make cartoons and tutorials about the 3D program Blender. I have been animating since I was a little baby, making flipbooks and using flash. I went to the Savannah College of Art and Design for 1 year, dropped out, worked in restaurants making pizza for like 8 years, and then got back into animation.
I love making silly bouncy characters and building systems to make animating and modeling easier and more fun. I have more than 24 million views across YouTube, which WAS the most legitimizing thing I could say, until I helped animate for Adult Swim’s Smiling Friends, which is my new claim to fame.
I have a bunch of other projects in the works, so be on the lookout! Thanks for looking at my stuff!”
Check out more of Joey’s work on his profile, as well as his LinkTree with the link in our bio!
Happy Friday! ✌️

Check out my new short "Eye 4 Eye" that I made for @hellavisiontelevision and @loose_frames Hell Fables
Also, thank you to @kevins_computer who did the voice for the red guy
Watch it on YouTube for the ultimate experience, where I actually get some money from your views :D
I made this character and environment completely with my draw model tool yesterday, then I remeshed it with quadremesher. It was a lot of fun to animate a 2D style character and play to the camera
shameless self promo, I shared this 2 minute video on Patreon about how I made the music for "I Come In P-"
Give me your money and you'll see me make weird noises a little more
Try out the Auto Smear Frames tool that I made! It's on Gumroad, link in bio.
It's a geometry nodes setup that looks at the previous 2 frames to create round arc smears, and has a bunch of customizable options
