Great American Crooners Post Tour Appreciation Post! 🎙️🦞🎹
Crazy to think it’s already been a few weeks now since The Great American Crooners finished our 10 week tour. Been meaning to post something but never been great at my social media presence and doing things in a timely manner 😅 guess better late than never!
This tour for me was the first of its kind and I really felt like I learned a lot from everyone involved. Seeing the many different ways everyone got down to business and carried themselves throughout the two and half months was truly inspiring. The relationships and friendships that were made I hope to carry throughout the rest of my life.
Thank you to @imgartists and @jazzdotorg for giving me the opportunity to co-MD with @bbjazziii traveling across the U.S./Ontario crooning and sharing music with so many wonderful audiences! It was a true pleasure to make music and hang with such lovely people night after night and day by day.
@bbjazziii@shenelvox@jocelyngouldmusic@sonnystep@felixmoseholm@drummingsquirrel@calebtobocman@garykerkezoudrums@haleyfreedlund@gabefraiv I love you all and thank you for such a beautiful chapter in my life! 🥹❤️🙏
Special thanks to @tobytumarkin@labeanne and @jo917 !

In continuing Fairfield University’s America250: The Promise and Paradox initiative, the Quick Center turns its focus to jazz, an essential component of America’s musical history.
For over three decades, Jazz at Lincoln Center has been a leading advocate for jazz, culture, and the arts globally. Join them at the Quick Center for classic tunes such as “Moon River” and “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” on Thursday, March 19 at 8 pm.
With their considerable vocal talents, Benny Benack III, Shenel Johns, and Robbie Lee will guide audience members through the golden age of jazz and big band music.
After almost forty years as the founder and face of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Wynton Marsalis recently announced his plan to step down as the organization’s artistic director next year. This performance is a great opportunity to show appreciation for his legacy, watching the vision he shaped take form on stage.
