DBIYO + NJK 2026
Not an ideal preparation, no expectations — but still gave it everything.
After a period of illness, which is still not over, I couldn’t train at full capacity and didn’t feel ready going into the NJK U19 (5th place). Heading into the DBIYO, I felt unsure as well. Dizzy, nauseous, tired… in the iso right before coming out, I really didn’t feel ready. At the moment, I’m undergoing hospital examinations to find the cause.
During the first two boulders, I wasn’t feeling well due to dizziness. That was frustrating, because I needed more rest than usual and couldn’t take as many attempts on boulder 1.
Luckily, on boulders 3 and 4, the dizziness was gone and I could finally just climb and enjoy it.
I had no expectations at all going into the DBIYO, so I’m super happy with 3rd place 🥉
Hopefully the examinations will bring clarity and a solution, so I can move forward and perform at my best again.

Pretty happy with how it went, but there is still a lot of work to be done. I look out for the youth boulders and other trainings.
