Our film Committee Animal had a wonderful time with the other short films in our block at Sonoma International Film Festival last weekend. The screening was sold out – always a thrill.
Another highlight for me was attending the panel discussions and learning from the best. My favorite panel featured Barry Jenkins (@bandrybarry )director of the Best Picture winner Moonlight, a film widely considered one of the most important works of 21st-century American cinema. (He also directed Academy Award nominee, If Beale Street Could Talk and other acclaimed films like Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King.)
