Meet the Director:
GG Hawkins joins the Beacon Film Society on May 7th for a screening of her award winning feature film "I Really Love my Husband."
Based in Los Angeles, Hawkins is a filmmaker and the host of the No Film School Podcast, where she discusses the realities of film production with leading industry cinematographers and directors.
Following the screening at the Howland Cultural Center, Hawkins will join moderator Rachel Handler for a Q and A with the audience.

🎬 Meet the Humans Behind Unspoken Bond
Introducing Rob Featherstone — Cinematographer, and an artistic eye behind Unspoken Bond.
Rob is a seasoned cinematographer working across commercial, narrative, and documentary film — and his resume is as stunning as the images he creates.
His documentary work alone tells the story of a filmmaker with extraordinary range and depth. A Fine Line, exploring the world of female chefs, earned him the Best Cinematography award at the Borderlands Film Festival. Love Gilda — a deeply intimate portrait of the beloved Gilda Radner — opened the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and received two Emmy nominations. Requiem for the American Dream and Indian Point both premiered at Tribeca. And Farmer of the Year, starring Barry Corbin and Terry Kiser, took home the Audience Choice Award at the Minneapolis International Film Festival.
Rob studied classics at Wesleyan University — and that foundation in storytelling, history, and the human condition is evident in the way he sees the world through a lens. When he’s not on set, he’s home in Beacon, New York with his family.
Rob previously collaborated with the KTF Films team on BAR — and when it came time to bring Unspoken Bond to life, there was no question he was the right person for the job. His heart and sensitivity are evident in every single frame of this film.
