NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!!! Peace and love Family! šŸ‘‹šŸ½ I’m a licensed psychotherapist based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and I’m inviting you to take a step toward healing, freedom, and growth. My calling is to help people unlock their full potential by unburdening themselves from past wounds. Trauma changes us—whether experienced as children or adults—and it often shows up in ways we don’t expect: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, anger... or simply feeling stuck. Together, we’ll uncover the strength, will, and wisdom already within you—allowing you to emerge stronger, freer, and more aligned with your true self. The time to make serious moves on those daydreams you’ve been putting off is now. You’ll be amazed at how much lighter life feels and how much faster you can progress when you release the weight you’ve been carrying šŸš€ Here’s what you can expect: * A light, humorous, judgment-free space with a compassionate ear, so you can finally unpack the years of burdens weighing you down. * We’ll remove blockages and old patterns, freeing up energy, motivation, and discipline so you can build a reality you’re truly excited about. * You’ll receive tools, systems, and insights to master your inner world, ensuring steady progress toward your goals—whether in health, relationships, finances, or something more šŸ¾ It’s time to create and walk in a higher, more powerful vision of yourself—because the world needs the best version of you. I know some wonder if therapy can really help. Here’s the truth: it will work if you work it. My role is to help you uncover your inner wisdom and stay committed to your healing journey. But as James Campbell said, ā€œthe final trick is yours.ā€ But no worries, I’ve got your back. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation and let’s see if we’re a good fit. If not, I’m happy to point you in the right direction. ✨ Slots are limited. If you feel that inner pull, DM me or visit the link in my bio. #blackmenheal #mentalhealthawareness #blackpeople #blackculture #blacklove #therapy

"O my heart, my Mother, my heart, my Mother, my heart whereby I come into being. Stand not up against me as a witness nor oppose me in the Council of the Judgement. Weigh not heavy against me before the Keeper of the Balance. You are my divine essence which dwells in my body, the divine power which makes strong my limbs. When you come forth in the place of happinesss where we go, may you not cause my name to send forth an offensive odor before those who assign people to their rightful place. May it be favorable for us and the Hearer be favorable to us and there be joy at the weighing of words. Let not falsehood be uttered against me before the Great God. For surely your righteousness will cause you to rise up in triumph." -The Book of Coming Forth By Day May you live a thousand more years. And may there never be a span of time in the ebb and flow of the ceaseless ages of eternity that you do not exist in a position of honor and power. Happy Birthday to my Old Earth @preachawoman67

Black men handle trauma by trying to get rich. Money alone not going to help lil bro process that. Alot of Black boys are in lose lose situations. Fight back and get jumped, maybe killed or maimed. Develop enemies for life over something utterly stupid OR feel soft and replay that situation over and over until one day maybe you realize that you were all just a bunch of traumatized descendants of slaves living in the white supremacist apocalyptic aftermath of the destruction of our communities…and…you gone have to forgive him and yourself and let it go. But before that he’s likely going to do a lot of things to himself and other people while subconsciously trying to protect himself from something that happened in the past. And the truth is the boy who slapped him is likely the most traumatized person in the video. Only fear makes you do something like that. Projection. ā€œHe’s alone and weak. Let me take advantage.ā€ That’s actually how bro feels inside and that’s how people have handled him all his life. Maybe one day before it’s too late he’ll realize the harm he’s caused to others and try to make amends. Develop himself and fulfill his potential. If not…well we all know the alternatives. this why we need more Black therapists. #trauma #healing #mentalhealthawareness

This weekend, 30 Black men stood among ancient giants and found ourselves in their story. Like redwoods, we discovered our own remarkable resilience—facing fears on a ropes course, embracing vulnerability, or simply finding peace by the river. ⠀⠀ How have redwoods survived for thousands of years? Their bark contains special compounds that make them resistant to fire, insects, and decay. This weekend, our facilitators helped us get equipped with tools for our own resilience—learning to be aware of and heal from trauma and taking our first steps towards financial wisdom. ⠀⠀ But here’s where we really build power: While redwoods stand tall as individuals, their strength comes from community. Their roots don’t grow deep—instead, they extend outward, intertwining with neighboring trees. This weekend, we began weaving our own root system, seeing ourselves reflected in the brothers around us and making connections to support each other. ⠀⠀ And just as redwoods create their own climate—capturing fog that nourishes not just themselves but the entire forest—we too are climate creators. What we’ve learned here isn’t just for us. It’s meant to water and grow the communities we are returning to as better sons, better fathers, better partners. ⠀⠀ All the growth, connections, and insights from our time together are solidified through action. As we leave this sacred space, we carry these redwood lessons with us: we stand tall in our resilience, we are rooted in community, and our healing creates a climate where our community can flourish. ⠀⠀⠀ Photo: @jesseslens.photo

You may kick me not knowing there is an old injury there. You are responsible for the kick, I am responsible for the old injury. Unhealed is making people responsible for both. We lash out because we have found someone who we can make pay for all the pain in that area and I think this is the cause of a lot of relationship dysfunction. I am more likely to forgive and preserve relationship when I know that a lot of the hurt I’m feeling is old hurt. Now I still have to determine whether you will continue to kick me in that area. And if so it’s time to create distance. I also need to understand why you kicked me in the first place. But it might just be that you kicked because of an old wound you carry. Our wounding has had an interaction. Where are we in healing what makes us kick? Does your healing trajectory align with mine? If we can’t give people the right to be as wounded and complicated as we are relationship is impossible, especially in the Black community. Healing is loving to oneself and it creates space for us to extend grace to others. Forgiveness stores up grace for ourselves because surely we will need it soon. And that is the power. There is so much more creative potential when one has healed up. So much can be created and preserved. But more than anything, I am able to dictate who I will be in any given moment instead of being a zombie to hurt, kicking when I am kicked. I exist solidly within my highest self and that is every persons seat of power. #healing #relationshipgoals

Ever growing in my relationship with the Most High. Discerning THAT voice from the chorus of fears, insecurities and judgements. Reflecting on how that guiding light is firm but patient. Experiencing that the Most High is concerned infinitely less with my behavior than my unfolding journey and the growth it offers. So grace and patience is available, as well as consideration for the pace I uniquely require to be… Im also hearing that this life is a race to remembering my completeness even in the midst of my brokenness and stealing as much time as possible to bask in that confidence. The voice of God is not found in my insecurity, but in the security of divine love and connection. I am first that golden thread that connects me to life itself. Learning to thrum that line is my only work and hope. Bless
