What a fantastic first day it’s been at @plasaonline Leeds, it’s been great to see so many of you already – thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand and joined our sessions.

Find out how Sam Fender’s team created a raw, distinctive lighting design for his People Watching tour.
Large-scale shows, with the brief to scale the existing arena look rather than reinvent it.
With no roof and midsummer daylight to deal with, output was a key factor.
@sam_tozer of @visionfactory specified 189 x Robe iForte LTX, most running at around 40%, leaving plenty in reserve for when it needed to step up.
They were doing a few jobs at once - framing the video, driving the bigger moments, and handling key light on the band, keeping it clean and natural so it held up on camera.
Production for the four shows - three at St James’ Park in Newcastle and one in the London Stadium - was supplied by @adlib (lighting, video, rigging and PA), with @nubsound on audio control.

Alongside the show, we’re also running Spotlight Training at the Robe UK office (14–15 May), led by Steve Eastham.
The sessions are hands-on and focused on how the fixtures behave in real use - looking at output, colour, effects, and how they translate into programming on a show.
The training days are a great opportunity to spend time with the kit, understand how it responds, with time built in for any technical questions you have.
