I can’t even begin to express how proud and grateful I am of Sione’s talented oldest son @iameluene for joining me in this message. Please do not drive impaired or get into a car with an impaired driver. It is not worth the risk. Mahalo to @hawaiidot , @khonnews , and the entire Tamale & Tuiasoa family ♥️ @kayz3x@tanaleimoon@peauxpua #RIPSioneTamale #HIGoSafe
For those that know me, you know how much my heart still hurts for my late dear friend Sione and his family. 17 years ago his life was tragically cut short as a passenger in a drunk driving crash. He was a father of three and just 25 years old.
During this holiday season, always have a plan to get home safely. It is not worth the risk. If you feel different, you drive different. @hawaiidot@khonnews
Rest in Aloha my Father.
Many knew him as Junior, Uncle Junior and Coach Junior but he loved nothing more than being called Dad and “Papa”.
I remember first falling in love with sports and specifically Hawai’i sports because it gave me something to talk to him about. We never stopped.
He loved the ‘Bows and El Camino cars and making people laugh with never ending inappropriate jokes.
To many of you out there he was a baseball coach and if you were one of those people, Mahalo. It brought him great joy.
We will miss him lots but are so grateful for the memories and love along the way.
Mahalo Nui Loa Papa.
