~ Temporary spot

To our incredible gym family ❤️
This past weekend, an unexpected pipe burst caused severe flooding and damage throughout our entire building. While it’s been one of the toughest moments we’ve faced, the amount of love and support we received reminded us exactly why this community means so much to us.
Over 100 friends, family members, students, and volunteers showed up immediately to help us move equipment, clean up, and begin the recovery process. We truly cannot put into words how grateful we are for every single person who reached out, checked in, donated time, and stood beside us during this transition.
Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we work through repairs and restoration. The gym is currently drying out, and for the next few weeks we’ll be training at temporary locations while renovations take place.
The good news?
We WILL be back — stronger, better, and more united than ever.
Please continue checking your emails daily for important updates regarding class schedules, temporary training locations, and reopening information. We’ll also be creating a WhatsApp group soon so our community can stay connected and informed throughout the process.
Most importantly, thank you for being more than members — you are family. Your support during this difficult time has meant everything to us, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back home soon.
Stay tuned, stay connected, and keep training. ❤️
See you all very soon.

The world sees how high someone rises.
Rarely how far they had to travel.
Max walked into our academy 15 years ago — a backyard-trained kickboxing champion with a dream.
Over the years we watched that journey unfold. From fighting in empty community centers in Hawai‘i… to headlining sold-out arenas around the world.
Saturday night didn’t go as planned. But sport is a strange thing — you can do everything right and still lose the game. But sport is not life. In life, a loss does not always mean you were defeated.
“Sometimes, you don’t have to win, you cannot win. But that has nothing to do with losing - @ricksongraciejj ”
For quite some time I already felt Max was a black belt. We just never had the moment to recognize him as one. As a coach, I know that awarding a black belt after a loss may not seem like the best timing.
But sometimes the right moment isn’t the perfect moment.
What we witnessed in that cage was resilience, character, belief, technique, and the will to survive.
That display only confirmed what I already knew.
With the presence and approval of my instructor, @pedro_sauer_
Max Holloway, @technicsjiujitsu Black Belt.
We closed out 2025 with 9 new black belts.
Years of work. No shortcuts.
Respect to everyone who stepped on the mat, trusted the process, and stayed the course.
2026 is already moving.
Who’s next? 🥋
A Maestro of Jiu-Jitsu.
Master Sauer is conducting the masterpiece of his life through the art of Jiu-Jitsu —
each movement a note of precision and grace,
each technique a part of a living composition refined over decades.
Technics = Art refined by method.
It’s where expression meets discipline.
—
Technics (téchnē): the art and craft of skill.
More than technique — it’s the balance between creativity and precision.
