“Bring back manly men.” I am happy with this point in history and gender politics. However, it is also important to note that I as a white person will likely never be persecuted for wearing a dress and being myself. That is a luxury. Moreover, let us in this moment appreciate the generations of trans and queer people of color that have been breaking gender stereotypes LONG before it was “mainstream”.
