During these uncertain and politically unsettling times. Shared on Trans Visibility Day; I want to raise awareness of the continuous inequality, violence, and discrimination that political systems of power still enforce. But lets also celebrate and honor all inspiring transgender and queer, non-conforming stars.
While embarking an intense introspective journey and creative process for the past year, I have been working on Living Exhibition and performance; Children of Zeus.
We are currently going through the last phase of its creation process. Where we rediscover a queer healing experience, with lots of unlearning through body and water. With ongoing dialogue and finding delicate solutions to keep flowing. The knowledge of ancestors is found in breath, rhythm, body, and water. The friction between forgotten histories and the rise of modern technology is translated within this mythical journey.

@fleur.vd.schaaf ) embody Aphrodite and Gaia’s energy. While I embody energy of Zeus and Ares. Despite being Zeus's son, Ares was not really in favor with daddy. But as recognizable toxic dysfunctional family structure; let’s say it gives the child personality.
As dancemaker I have been working deeply together with visual artist Valentina Gal (she/her). The collaboration arose from a shared fascination with water, a metaphor for transformative healing. Through this installation, we explore how a relationship with nature can be explored. We were aiming for a tangible translation of queer ecology, while rethinking lived experiences with diaspora.
