Two years ago, an amazing videographer by the name of Jake Dennis contacted me, asking if I was interested in collaborating with him on a project he was working on called “Power.” He saw me at a ballroom function at the Kwakoe festival and wanted to document me voguing. People who know me understand that part of my life is not really a secret, but it’s a part that I don’t often share on social media. So my initial reaction was that I didn’t think I was the right person for this. But something in me said to just be free and see where this experience would take me and guide me. So, here I am, sharing this beautiful project that was shot by the wonderful videographer. It was a pleasure working with you, Jake, and thank you for asking me to be a part of this beautiful project.

As I bring my ballroom year of 2023 to a close, I can't help but feel proud looking back at where it all began. Starting this adventure as the first Dutch Balenciaga, opening new doors in the Netherlands – it was a whirlwind of nerves and excitement.
Reflecting on this past year fills me with gratitude. I'm glad that after navigating this path alone, Exo and August carried and decided to join the house. Their trust in what I envisioned for the future means the world.
Looking forward to 2024 I know it will be a year that promises bigger and better things, where our creativity and dedication will flourish. I can't wait to showcase our collective vision and bring forth a new era of Balenciaga to the Netherlands.

During the weekend event at the “Let’s take a trip to South America” ball in Paris, I set a personal challenge to venture into new fashion territories by taking part in the Best Dressed category.
Although the outcome didn’t align with my initial plans, I found immense enjoyment throughout the experience.
I want to thank @augusto.ju.nior & @miidorie for creating this beautiful coat.
This is only the beginning. So back to the kitchen for me because I’m cooking.
The cat is finally out of the bag. This year I embarked on a new journey by entering the Iconic International ballroom house of Balenciaga @houseofbalenciaga . You can read all about it in the latest interview in Numero magazine @numero_netherlands
