// BAD POSTURE? // Back in 2024, maybe around July or August, I dropped a text to a pretty incredible musician who was making his mark at the time with his debut project, and asked if I could shoot his show at Fandom. We made it happen and what an awesome show it was. And, as luck would have it, almost a year later, he came back to Bangalore and played a show at the same venue, and asked me to capture it again. The first time round, the man was making his mark, but by the time the second show came round, my man was clear! Despite so many difficulties - including having to change venue the night before the show - he packed out the place and had 300-something people singing every lyric to every song and cheering him on unlike anything I'd seen before at that place. I really really love this entire set of photos with all my heart and am so happy to be sharing it. Can't wait to make it 3 years running with @notsudan , and shoot some more awesome club shows this year! // Қазақстан // Some frames from the magnificent country of Kazakhstan. Top 5 favourite places I've ever been. Everyone's only knowledge of Kazakhstan probably comes from Borat, but that movie does this country such a disservice. We were in Almaty for less than a week and it felt like New York in the autumn. We spent our evenings cruising through the city on electric scooters, eating great food and awesome chocolate. The last day we were there, Shoaib and I went on a tour of some of the most incredible natural spots in Kazakhstan - Charyn Canyon, Kolsay, and Kaindy Lakes. We met some incredible people on the trip - our lovely tour guide Rustam, and some awesome travellers from all around the world - Dubai, India, the US even. What I wouldn't give to spend another week in that country. Very grateful to get the opportunity to go there, my camera has taken me places I would never have dreamed of. // NEW RIOT PT. 2 // Some more of my favourite photos from the New Riot shoot. It was a long ass day, being on it creatively for 14-15hrs straight is mad challenging, but I love a challenge! Big ups to @rebleofficial @bassdroppingalien and @__whitenoize__ on an incredible tune, and the @agamicreatives boys on a trippy video. // O MY FRIEND // Got to shoot one of India's finest performers, Karthik, at a few shows across 2025. One of the best sets I've had the pleasure of shooting. I shot 3 shows, all different. The first, in Trichy, was a massive outdoor show with a massive crowd. The second, in Kochi, was a televised showcase at an indoor auditorium. And the final one, in Hyderabad, was a fully packed club show at Odeum. Definitely some images here I hold as portfolio-defining, among my very best. // TOUCH THE SKY // The incredible mountain ranges that lie between India and Kazakhstan, shot on the coolest drone to exist - the airplane 😂 Back in October 2024, I was lucky enough to travel to Kazakhstan for a project and the flight from Delhi to Almaty was probably the most beautiful one I've ever been on. The sun was setting, and I was at a west-facing window with my camera. The beautiful Hindu Kush and Pamir ranges were a treat to behold. Shooting out the airplane window is challenging. You're stuck next to a small window, strapped in with no way to move and reframe, just minimally moving your camera and finding frames as they fly by at 500 miles an hour. But hey, I did okay :) Shot on my Sony A7III with the Tamron 70-180 G2. // BEST LIFE // A set of my favourite photos from the weekend I toured with Ben Bohmer last November. Such lovely shows, never seen a crowd that tuned in - a few songs off Bloom have entered my rotation since. Hyderabad was a tough tough show for me. Broke my lens and my filter. And it was such a cool show, at an awesome venue. But hey, shit happens, so turned up to Bangalore with renewed vigour and really liked what I was able to capture. // HYDERABAD KA MEHMAN // The "A.R."s finally meet. Finally got to shoot the legend, A.R. Rahman, back in November last year, on the Hyderabad stop of his Wonderment Tour. You know a show's gonna be good when someone enters from the ground with sparkler guns blazing all around. And it was all uphill from there - banger after banger. What an incredible band of musicians he has playing with him as well. Can't wait to shoot him again. 3 hours have never gone by so fast. // MORE THAN WORDS // I've been shooting for over 3 years now and I have to say - this is probably the best live set I've witnessed, to date. I was pretty ill on Day 2 of Bandland '24. but I told myself I'd suck it up for Extreme. And, as weird as this sounds, this set cured me haha. They started out with such mad energy, Gary (at 63, mind you) was jumping up and down all over the place - at one point he was on top of some speakers. Pat looked just as badass as he played and Kevin was giving it all and then some. Then came Nuno - who slowed the set down, and gave the guitarheads in the crowd what they came for. And the big moment in the set was of course, More Than Words - Gary and Nuno sat down right upfront and serenaded the crowd. It always feels weird to not just sit back and take it all in, but I love being behind the camera during moments like this.
