Excerpt from my interview with Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla at Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year. Most of us know that the Birla family was involved in the freedom movement. The last 144 days of Mahatma Gandhi were at the Birla house in Delhi. But very few people would know that they also had a connection with India’s Nobel Prize winner - CV Raman.
Very few would have had the opportunity to interview The Man twice!
Our day at work yesterday was nothing short of extraordinary... I had the honor of interviewing Prime Minister @narendramodi ji in Delhi, accompanied by my three brilliant editors from Lokmat — Vijay Baviskar, Atul Kulkarni, and Ashish Jadhao!
We discussed pivotal policies, evolving politics, and both national and regional newsmakers. Hearing his post-election agenda was truly enlightening.
We delved into topics that matter, driven by questions that challenge. Any interview gives you a high, but having the opportunity to do it twice (once in 2019 and now in 2024) elevates the experience to another level!
