It’s been a whole year since we opened up space for creatives like ourselves. Many things happened and we’re celebrating them on Saturday. Happy first birthday to my first born @engage_space 🖤

Super psyched to present ‘A Brief History of the Future’, the brainchild of our brainchild @engage_space . After a whole YEAR of activity, we are ready to celebrate our very first birthday this Saturday, and all I can say is I am impossibly grateful to have been able to create, participate in, nurture and grow side by side with something as remarkable and future facing as this next generation of African music being born right before our eyes. And even though she’s just a baby getting to grips with the ways of the world, despite the fact that she’s barely begun, she still breaks the ground when she walks. So we can only imagine what she has the potential to innovate and disrupt as we persevere forward.
So pls, join us this Saturday for another Show of the Year, featuring live performances from myself, @rigokamp , @wapoworldwide , @2raaaar , @brayethebadger , a radical exhibition from @fahdsuniverse , @victorveddart and @wasetaiwo , and a revolutionary DJ set from none other than @duttyyosa , the disco man himself.
