What does it mean to build a music space that actually makes room—for experimentation, for ownership, for sounds that don’t fit the mould?
That’s the question Yosa and his co-founders, Esoterica and Olayemi Oladapo, asked when they launched Space Studio, a Lagos-based creative space and sonic playground that’s quietly fostering some of the most exciting music on the alternative scene.

We spoke about balancing creativity with uncomfortable business convos, building community through sound and why Lagos needs more creative infrastructure that isn't afraid to be niche.
This is for African creatives who are transforming their industries and making space for others along the way.
