@rightsoverborders@latinotaskforcesf@thecityeats & @doactsofkindness will be hosting a community braiding fundraiser where every braid helps give back. Proceeds will go toward supporting the San Francisco Latino Task Force’s future Department of Justice Accreditation program. This program will create a pathway to those that want to support immigration lawyers in the affirmative care work, the process of supporting lawyers through the paperwork for clients, so that the lawyers can spend their time representing clients at their court hearings.
We’re also hosting our Letter of Hope & Love workshop w/ @ellenperezradio ! It’s a chance to write uplifting messages and spread kindness and encouragement to families currently in detention centers and to our farmworker community.
@sflatinotaskforce along with other community partners will also be providing resources for families!
It’s going to be a day filled with music, local DJs, games, family activities, and a Live Soccer Watch party!! ⚽️🥅
Come hang out, get your hair braided, support the community and make some memories with us! See ya there!!
I’ve teamed up with @rightsoverborders and @billyroysburgerco this Saturday for a Mother’s Day treat!
We will have vendors , delicious food and a Trenza braiding fundraiser to support organizations who are assisting our street vendors and families affected by the current immigration policies!
Come to Fremont to get your braids!!! I will also be doing my letters of love and hope that will go directly to families in detention centers and to our farmworker community 💕💌
