A big win now turns into another vote and another process to try and block housing for our Senior Farmworkers. When you see their eyes with hope gleaming and their worn hands asking for us to please make change—when you hear their stories and when we go out into the fields to walk with them, seeing how hard their everyday work is for all of us.
How can we honestly say no? How can we say, “You deserve it, but just not here”? So then where? Hidden away?
They are our elders, our pillars, our teachers, our example. They are who we should all strive to be—humble, kind, hardworking, committed, faithful, and so much more.

Lo scorso fine settimana abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitare a Milano i rappresentanti di @alashmb , associazione no-profit impegnata nella tutela dei diritti delle persone migranti a Half Moon Bay, in California.
Insieme abbiamo attraversato Via Padova con una passeggiata esplorativa, e riflettuto attraverso un workshop dedicato alla narrazione, al turismo responsabile e ai valori che costituiscono Migrantour.
È stato un incontro ricco di scambio, ascolto e creatività: un’occasione di crescita collettiva e l’inizio di un legame di cooperazione reciproca.
Grazie di cuore ad ALAS per la visita e per l’energia condivisa.
