After staying in Japan for about a month and a half, I didn't want to go home. I met so many kind people that I forgot how far I was from home.
I even got to do the film work I love. We visited so many places, including karaoke bars, public baths, cocktail bars, and even mountains.
It was a really long week, but it was also a learning experience, having had four spoken languages on set.
We had a Korean director, actor, and steadi-op, a Mexican DP, a Taiwanese gaffer, and a Japanese grip, along with many local hires. I studied every day to communicate better and grow closer, and I'm glad I did.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I miss my new friends already! See you next time!

This past August I had the incredible honor of being Director for the short film ‘ONDEH’.
A personal story by @mizz.not.miss and produced together with @zoemjimenez , and shot by a crew of bipoc lgbtq+ personnel, what I feel most proud of is the synergy of all involved in set. It was a smooth, coordinated, and wonderfully enjoyable experience ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴇxᴄᴇʟʟᴇɴᴛ ᴄᴀᴛᴇʀɪɴɢ.
More BTS photos and info to come.
Thank you all.
