Next week, The Songwriters Circle and Same Place Trio come to Cardigan Arms as part of my event: Moonbeams.
@herbie.hopkins came to me with the idea of the The Songwriters Circle and as soon as I read the vision I knew I wanted to help out because it's gonna be special. Each Songwriter will perform a few songs, talk about it and pass it on, welcoming the audience into their world for a small amount of time.
It's also the world premiere of The Same Place Trio which is an all-star violin-less string trio comprising of some the most cutting edge string players out there. Ferg, Aby and Mick. They are like the avengers of the string world.
It's my first gig at Cardigan Arms. If you've not been it's got an amazing function room with chandeliers, set away from the public so no interruptions, great beer, it's an important historic place and were supported by the great team who works at Cardi arms to put on this gig.
