On Friday we took out a group of 4-students who made an extra donation to BDR, and we had an absolute blast!

Emergency braking can make or break your ride.
In our Level 2 training classes, we teach riders how to safely slow down and stop when terrain changes unexpectedly, an essential skill for both trail and ADV riders.
It all starts with the fundamentals: developing a feel for the rear brake while maintaining proper body position. That balance is everything.
Practicing these coordinated movements with realistic intensity is key to controlling the bike when it really matters.
And when it clicks, everything changes.
On top of that fundamental skill set, riders are taught progressively advanced techniques to maximize stopping power.

After a day of foundational training on our signature “V-of-Traction” riding techniques, students headed into the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest on Sunday to put their new skills to use.
Along the way, we encountered mud, ruts, rocks, and about a mile from the mountaintop, snow!
