Day 2 of the BDR Fundraiser in the books. New friends, fun trails, good food. And I performed some important "durability testing" of the Lone Rider crash bars, skid plate and motobags. They passed! Don't worry, the only bruises were to my ego. @ridebdr@loneridergear@araiamericas@klimmotorcycle

I’m originally from New York, so it was great joining the @ridebdr crew to film the new Adirondack BDR-X route. When I lived in NYC, I didn’t have the means to venture that far north and really get to know my home state. What I discovered is that it’s a beautiful place, and one of the best ways to experience it is by adventure bike. Done and dusted. 🏍️🗽
Since 2010, Backcountry Discovery Routes® (BDR®) has proudly partnered with Butler Maps to produce planning maps for each BDR route. Together, along with the distribution support of both Butler Maps and Touratech-USA, BDR has helped riders explore and connect with the backcountry in meaningful ways.
Over the years, BDR has grown from a small grassroots effort into a nationwide route network and community while remaining focused on its core mission: serving riders, expanding access to resources, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the riding opportunities created by the nonprofit organization.
The recent launch of the BDR online store has been an incredible success and now plays an important role in strengthening BDR’s financial foundation. Moving forward, the BDR online store will be the only place to purchase BDR maps and merchandise online. A select number of motorcycle dealerships will continue to carry maps in-store for riders who prefer to shop locally.
While Butler Maps will no longer sell BDR maps, the company has long set the standard for premium adventure travel maps, helping BDR riders, as well as countless non-motorcycling explorers, connect with iconic off-pavement routes, remote destinations, scenic highways, and hidden gems across the continent.
BDR would like to express its deep gratitude to @butlermaps and @touratechusa for their years of partnership, support, and friendship. These relationships have been, and continue to be, instrumental in BDR’s growth and success, and we are proud to continue working alongside them as valued collaborators in the adventure riding community.

AZBDR Ride Report!
Terry Rossi checked in today with a short trip report from section 3 of the Arizona BDR.
" Section 3:
Very beautiful but starting to be very rocky. The expert route is even more. But I thought it was worth it."
Hopefully the 91-degree heat wasn't too bad, Terry. Thanks for sharing your trip report on the AZBDR Facebook group!
