GREENACRES, a new musical by Baker & Ryall
We’re delighted to announce our new project which will be having a concert showing as part of @wgsummerseason with @theartscentrehounslow on 11th August 2026!
Greenacres is an original musical set in a seemingly idyllic English village in 1994, featuring a warm score rooted in musical theatre with touches of English folk tradition. When a new family moves into the village, they quickly discover the joys and pressures of living in a close-knit community where everyone knows your business. As neighbours come and go, the story reveals the shifting rhythms of village life, the challenge of belonging, and the things that quietly endure, whilst considering the changing landscape of the countryside we grew up in.
Writing on Greenacres began in 2024 and it’s still a work in progress, so we’re really excited to get it in front of an audience and see how it goes down! Cast and creatives to be announced! 👀

Our last show brought to life the “Disney Princesses Do The Hunger Games” dream of theatrical designer by day and audience member by night @verity.noble
In their dream we encountered a dystopian version of Disneyland featuring a bloodthirsty Mickey Mouse, enjoyed a meet cute between Verity and their real life partner which took place in the midst of an audition for an amateur dramatics society. As well as a cast of marvellous misfits including; demonic puppets, cheerful British cannibals, a moving contemporary dance section and a lovesong for the ages.
We were joined on this epic rollercoaster of a show by exceptional guest star Jiavani of @dropouttv fame. She will be performing with DropOutTV in London in June as part of their worldwide tour. Thank you Jiavani for bringing so much fun, positivity and joy to the stage. We hope to perform with you again soon!
Thanks to Verify for such an epic dream, @darr.enjordan for tech wizardry, @warmanhannah for being the hostess with the mostess, plus The Science of Living Things and One of Us for incredible first half sets and our audience who always make the rafters rock.
We are back at @hooplaimpro this Saturday (25/04) evening at the earlier time of 7pm for an extra special Dreamweaver show alongside Grand Theft Impro as part of Hoopla’s 20th birthday celebrations.
