This Earth Day we are delighted to announce that we are committing to sustainable practices for Greenacres from the ground up. We’ll be using the Theatre Green Book to account for the production of every iteration, aiming initially to meet the Basic level as outlined, but hoping to up that to Intermediate as the life of the piece progresses. GREENACRES, a new musical by Baker & Ryall We’re delighted to announce our new project which will be having a concert showing as part of @wgsummerseason with @theartscentrehounslow on 11th August 2026! Greenacres is an original musical set in a seemingly idyllic English village in 1994, featuring a warm score rooted in musical theatre with touches of English folk tradition. When a new family moves into the village, they quickly discover the joys and pressures of living in a close-knit community where everyone knows your business. As neighbours come and go, the story reveals the shifting rhythms of village life, the challenge of belonging, and the things that quietly endure, whilst considering the changing landscape of the countryside we grew up in. Writing on Greenacres began in 2024 and it’s still a work in progress, so we’re really excited to get it in front of an audience and see how it goes down! Our new musical adaptation of Heidi plays at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, part of @signatureinnyc , on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st July! Following on from our sold-out concert at 54 Below in NYC last year, we’re overjoyed to be bringing THREE script-in-hand workshop performances of Hangover Square to London in July! These workshops are for industry audiences to get a feel of the show in its entirety, but we’ll be putting a limited number of tickets to each one on public sale! Well! It has certainly been a whirlwind few months since we took Hangover Square to @54below in September.
