‘OSMOSIS – A Movement Between Action and Inaction’ by Gustaf Broms
which, after Performania, will result in an exhibition visible from the street. Gustaf’s work explores the porous boundaries of being, between the body’s physical experience and the perceptions of consciousness, between the individual and the surrounding environment. Or as someone put it: “The Universe is looking at itself through a tiny mirror”.

This is what our stand looks like after the @supermarketart in Stockholm after painting/drawing/collage done in 4 days in a row. The concept was a trophy room and the public that visits us and interacts with us during these days we ‘hunted’ their portraits and their time. Carne de Confesión is a mixed media wall collage depicting a full-scale cerdo ibérico. Made from torn paintings on paper and dyed passepartout scraps, it reuses fragmented material into a new, charged form. The title, “flesh of confession,” refers to the historical use of pork as a religious test in post-medieval Spain, where refusal to eat it could expose someone as non-Christian. The work reflects on the Spaniards’ enduring obsession with pork — not only as a national delicacy, but as a practice deeply rooted in the country’s historical and religious conflicts.
