Das Festival KONTAKTE präsentiert an vier Tagen neue Werke elektroakustischer Musik, Performances und Klanginstallationen 26. – 29. Juni 2025 Hanseatenweg & Pariser Platz Das Studio für Elektroakustische Musik der @akademiederkuenste lädt zur fünften Ausgabe von KONTAKTE ein. Das Festival für elektroakustische Musik und Klangkunst bespielt dieses Jahr neben dem Akademie-Standort Hanseatenweg einen Tag lang auch die Akademie am Pariser Platz und verwandelt sie in Orte intensiven (Zu-)Hörens. Konzerte, Performances und Klanginstallationen verbinden sich zu einem vielschichtigen und interdisziplinären Programm. Die Beiträge aus Berlin und der internationalen Szene zeigen, wie vielseitig zeitgenössische Klangkunst auf aktuelle technologische und gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen reagiert. Vor dem Hintergrund einer ‚ohrenbetäubenden‘ Weltlage schaffen die Künstler*innen Sensibilität und Aufmerksamkeit für das scheinbar Nebensächliche, das Abstrakte, das Abseitige, das Widerständige.

UP TO THREE ist ein Festivalformat, bei dem @ensemble_mosaik in kleinen Formationen auftritt. Bis zu drei Musikerinnen spielen gleichzeitig auf der Bühne des @acker_stadt_palast , unterstützt von Gastperformerinnen.
Das Thema THE BODY IN MUSIC fokussiert auf Körperlichkeit: virtuoser Körpereinsatz, Materialität von Instrumenten, Klang und Geräusch oder physische Präsenz. Bühnenpartner*innen sind u.a. die Butoh-Tänzerin @tiziana._longo und der Tango-Tänzer Hironori Sugata.
Kompositorische Studien von @laurensiess , @hanneskerschbaumer81 u.a. ergänzen das Programm, ebenso Werke von @carolabauckholt , @rcwcomposer und Denyer. Eine Improvisation mit Stimmakrobatin Ute Wassermann @voicextensions rundet ab.
@nicosauer_ kommentiert live und online (Cashmere Radio). . . . UP TO THREE is a festival format where ensemble mosaik performs in small groups. Up to three musicians play simultaneously on the Acker Stadt Palast stage, joined by guest performers. The theme THE BODY IN MUSIC focuses on physicality: virtuoso body use, instrument materiality, sound, and physical presence. Stage partners include butoh dancer Tiziana Longo and tango dancer Hironori Sugata. Compositional studies by Lauren Siess, Hannes Kerschbaumer and others complement the program, along with works by Bauckholt, Walker, and Denyer. An improvisation with vocal acrobat Ute Wassermann concludes the event. Ensemble feathers, Kristine Lindemann, Between Strings. • • • “Between Strings” is an immersive sound installation resembling an oversized string instrument, connecting sound, body, and space. It consists of seven strings, each stretched 5 to 10 meters, accompanied by contact microphones, acoustic resonance chambers, and lights, creating a multidimensional auditory experience. The interaction of the visitors with the strings generates sound that resonates through various amplification levels, including quadraphonic speaker systems, offering a dynamic spatial soundscape that varies with jhe listener’s position.
