The interior is reduced to its essentials through a restrained palette of white, wood, and concrete. Wood-lined ceilings and a continuous heated concrete floor introduce warmth within a minimal framework.
Energy performance strategies and technical elements are carefully integrated and largely concealed, reinforcing the project’s calm and durable character.

Maison du Lac Perdu par @rhaworks s’inscrit dans un dialogue étroit avec son site forestier. Posée sur un plateau, elle se déploie en deux volumes dont l’implantation est au service de la lumière et des vues sur le paysage.
Au nord, de très hauts plafonds et des fenêtres en partie haute offrent une vue paisible vers la cime des arbres, tout en préservant l’intimité.

Maison du Lac Perdu engages in a close and deliberate dialogue with its forested setting. A single-storey house resting on a plateau, the residence unfolds as two distinct volumes whose siting is driven by light and views across the landscape.
To the north, generous ceiling heights and high-set windows offer calm views into the canopy while preserving privacy.

This surfboard rack seamlessly integrates into the space, staying clear of head height while offering subtle glimpses of the board tops from almost every angle. Crafted from wood and steel, and finished with a clean white powder coat.

Combchair explores the everlasting relationship between art and science. The concrete anchors the sculpture by means of its mass and compressive strength. The seat itself is an elegant extension of the concrete’s requisite steel reinforcement, which, in other circumstances, would otherwise purely serve a utilitarian purpose. The aesthetic expression of this marriage will evolve by virtue of how the materials naturally weather over time.
