Art Group NURT (Lviv, Ukraine) 14.05 - 31.08.2025 Дім – один із найважливіших архетипів в Україні, а також у багатьох культурах світу. Образ втраченого дому – один із найдавніших художніх сюжетів, який фігурує навіть у міфах. Однак ми рідко говоримо про дім, який втратив людей. Мирні жителі, які загинули від ракетних та бомбових обстрілів, солдати, які загинули на війні, люди, які покинули свої домівки, рятуючись від війни, люди, які покинули свої домівки в ілюзорних пошуках кращого життя, люди, які покинули свої домівки через страх, і люди, які покинули свої домівки через державну зраду. Їхні будинки залишилися. Будинки, що зберігають пам'ять про тих, хто не повернеться, щоб пам'ятати. «Покинутий дім» – це проект, який поєднує роботи 5 українських художників, що досліджують покинутий дім та покинуті спогади в об'єктах, звуках, тканинах, відео, через дію, дані та простір. Home is one of the most important archetypes in Ukraine, as well as in many cultures in the world. The image of a lost home is one of the oldest artistic subjects, which appears even in myths. However, we rarely talk about a home that has lost people. Civilians who died from rocket and bomb attacks, soldiers who fell at war, people who left their homes to escape war, people who left their homes in the illusory search for a better life, people who left their homes because of fear, and people who left their homes because of treason. Their houses remained. Houses that preserve the memories of those who will not return to remember. "Forsaken Home" is a project which combines the works of 5 Ukrainian artists that explore the deserted home and abandoned memories in objects, sounds, fabrics, video, via action, data, and space. Birds have been migrating for thousands of years, following the same routes every time and creating itineraries. Nowadays, the migration paths of birds flying around the front lines resemble the world’s historical map, which is full of white blind spots. The possibility of returning to the so-called “nest” is an unconditional indicator of avoiding tragic socio-political and cultural events. Art Group NURT is a multidisciplinary group of Ukrainian artists that works in the field of audiovisual and digital art, performances, and concerts. Founded in 2011 by artist Mykhaylo Barabash and composer Ostap Manulyak in Lviv. (Other artists are also involved in various projects, among them: Yuriy Bulka, Ostap Manko, Sergiy Petlyuk, Roman Haideichuk, etc.). During the last few years, the art group presented several performances incorporating different digital and analog techniques.
