Unique was moments away from euthanasia after being labeled “too reactive” in the shelter. Behind the lunging, leash-biting, and nervous teeth-baring was a dog aching for patience and understanding .
🚨 Shelter Notes: “High arousal, kennel-stressed, but affectionate once trust is earned.” 💔 Why She Was at Risk: Fear-based reactions made her “hard to handle”—but we saw potential, not a problem . 🏡 Now: In rehab with @rfrdacademy through our partners @dogparkrescue , learning to replace panic with peace through patience , learning and love.
