It felt amazing to finally get the manual swapped 335d drift build out on track. Although it’s first few events were not without hiccups…

Anyways… Here’s an update on what’s happened since then!
We were able to get some stiffer springs thanks to @silverssuspensionna ! That definitely made a huge improvement on how the car handles. 😁
Unfortunately, at the last event, we were having some issues with the clutch. This unfortunately means the 335d is down for now. 😔 We are working to try to find a solution for these issues asap. Thanks for watching & supporting! We can’t wait to get back out there.

Cracked rear diff bushings are one of the most common failures on the F8X chassis, causing a nasty clunk at low speeds and on/off throttle. The shop F80 had a large crack in the diff bushing, so we opted to change the single mount over to the @revshift dual mount design, along with all 4 front diff bushings as well. Safe to say no more clunking and shifts have become alot more engaging. Don't hesitate to reach out if this is something your F8X needs! 🏁🤙

1 year ago i blew a head gasket and the z was down. the motor was torn down and found rtv worms were blocking 90% of the coolant channels in the block. after cleaning the block out and replacing gaskets the motor had low compression on multiple cylinders and rod knock..
it took a while to find a new motor and even longer to get everything done, but after too many 4 hours trips back and forth to orlando and tampa and @bimmerslidingby garage, we installed the motor from a 1988 donor z31 on new @revshift motor mounts and we are so back!
