I’m smoking what I’m selling, friends. No bullshit. I’m doing everything I ask my clients to do. I am my own best customer. And although my program is hard work… it DOES work.
Just like you, my life is full and my family requires a lot of energy. My marriage is a priority and my business demands my attention… there’s always more on the list.
But! I have developed habits and strategies that support my health and fitness goals. Out of all the blinding noise of nutrition advice out there, I know the foundational keys and I stick to them. It’s not about complex workout schemes or fad diets - as fantastic as those sound sometimes.
Keep it simple, keep it convenient, stay consistent and organize life in a supportive way so that my environment LEANS in the direction of health.
This photo is from June, right before I turned 44, 11 weeks out from my explant surgery after having to abstain completely for 6 weeks from lifting and really take it slow and easy. I admit I stressed out a bit because of it, but as soon as I started back into my program I was back on my game. Because my program WORKS!
It worked after 4 babies and in all the most stressful times in my life. It works at music festivals and when we are moving states. It works during the holidays and all summer long.
The key is always about habits. Habits are much stronger than positive affirmations or temporary extreme diets that crash our hormones. Habits even compensate for our fluctuating willpower or motivation.
My Vibrant Living Program (LAUNCHING NEXT TUESDAY) is all about establishing healthy habits that reshape our lifestyle so that it supports the long term goals for living well and feeling great.
My end goal isn’t actually to have visible abs (it’s always been to look good while I extend my active, joyful, healthspan), but BONUS… healthy habits have revealed those abs anyway. I’ll take it!
I’m so excited to join with a small group of women as we tackle these strategies and get on track to Live Vibrantly.

The gift that keeps on giving
Now, there is no magic pill, but these modalities can get pretty magical.
I mean, c’mon!! 4 years ago - I’m in awe 🥰
My voice note to this special lovebug, Ashley (who granted permission for her name to be viewed) applauded her for continually looking into herself for that magic and holding onto the truths that came through her experience.
There is no magic pill, but there is magic within YOU, and it is my DELIGHT to help people glimpse that inside themselves and set up practices to continually draw upon that strength.
Thank you to all of our clients for the gorgeous gift of your trust. Thank you, Ashley ✨
Don’t rely on willpower.
Success with nutrition takes preparation, not perfection.
A big batch of shredded chicken =
✔️ Protein ready in seconds
✔️ Fewer last-minute “what should I eat?” decisions
✔️ Way less temptation to grab whatever’s convenient
✔️ Staying consistent even on your busiest days
When your food is ready, your goals get easier.
This will quickly translate into:
✔️Chicken salad with pepitas, greens, homemade dressing(recipe is in the last post), crunchy veggies, diced potatoes and avocado
✔️Rice bowl, broccoli, carrots, snap peas, GF teriyaki sauce
✔️tossed with sweet potato and avocado

Light Balsamic Vinaigrette Recipe - At end of reel
Why I like it:
Fats like Extra Virgin Olive Oil have so many benefits.
Replacing saturated fats (animal fats, butter, margarine) with monounsaturated fats (EVOOis a good example) is especially good for cardiovascular health. Here’s a few ways:
🤍The Polyphenols in EVOO keep blood lipids from oxidative damage
🤍Manages blood pressure
🤍Reduces risk of thrombosis (major contributing factor of heart attack, stroke…)
🤍calming inflammation
🤍help reduce LDL (naughty cholesterol)
This recipe mixed with smashed avocado and baked sweet potato makes an insanely creamy dressing over greens - I add shredded chicken breast for an extremely lean protein, celery/cucumber/carrots/pumpkin seeds for crunch.
It is soooo good. And currently on REPEAT over here.
Recipe is the last slide in the reel. Snap it 📸

Potatoes have gotten bad PR in the past.
I am here to tell you they are an excellent choice for fat-loss.
Highly Satiating
Nutrient Dense
Low Calorie Load
For example:
200g baked potato w/ skin = 139 cals
200g cooked Jasmine rice = 260 cals
They are a prime illustration of eating smart.
🥔🥔🥔
Baking them like this uses barely any fat, keeping the calorie count low. I swear by these puppies all on their own!
I can help you maximize your food choices, so that you lose body fat, keep muscle, and feel satisfied - NOT DEPRIVED!
Ok, now I’m gonna tell you all about it.
Skinny is a trend. Strength is a standard.
I’m not shrinking myself to be more palatable, more “on trend,” or more acceptable. I’m building a body that lasts, ENJOYS, fully lives, and doesn’t fall apart when life gets hard.
Muscle isn’t just aesthetic — it’s power
• It keeps your metabolism working for you
• It protects your bones as you age
• It gives you strength, control, and confidence
• It lets you move like an athlete — not just look like one
Let’s be honest…Half of what we see online is about taking up less space.
I want MORE.
More strength. More presence. More life.
If that doesn’t fit the trend… good. I’m not building for trends — I’m building for longevity.
And if you’re ready to do the same, let’s go!
I help women (men too!) grow in strength and belief in themselves.
Nothing changes alone. This is true ecologically and socially.
In my work, I see it all the time:
People want to grow.
To change.
To become more fully themselves.
But what surprises them is the cost.
When we change, we disrupt the system around us—
our relationships,
our communities,
the roles we’ve been playing.
The life around us was shaped for who we used to be.
So when we step out of that shape,
others feel it.
Sometimes subtly.
Sometimes not.
And it can create tension, distance, even loss.
Not because anyone is wrong—
but because the relational ecosystem is adjusting.
Growth isn’t just personal.
It’s relational.
It asks something of us.
It may cost old patterns.
Familiar dynamics.
Even certain connections.
But if the price of becoming more honest,
more aligned,
more fully alive…
is that our world has to shift—
It takes courage.
To grow.
To let go.
To trust what you’re reshaping is more true.
Change changes things.
There isn’t a way around that.
Dangit!!
Achy bones and joints, puffy water retention, fatigued, bloated.
Here’s what I do as a 46 yr old mom with a gluten/dairy sensitivity
1. Hydrate with 1/2 my body weight (plus 15) in ounces of water
2. Take walks throughout the day - keeping movement light and focus on circulation
3. Calming foods - easy to digest like chicken, cooked carrots and zucchini, bone broth.
4. Sleep Quality AND Quantity. Going to bed early, watching sunrise and sunset, cutting stress as much as I can, cuddling @ryantmeeks , NO alcohol, caffeine limited to morning.
5. Digestive support - I do keep an emergency stash of digestive enzymes on hand for moments like this. Bone broth has a nice amount of L-glutamine to calm the gut lining. Magnesium Glycinate to keep the calm.
6. Social media break - reducing stress is a great way to speed recovery. Not all stress is optional (I am still a mom) social media is optional so I will be off until my system bounces back.
I have a lot of experience helping people with gluten sensitivities. If that’s you, I’d love to help.
Mmkay, love ya. ✌🏼
"Why can't God love like me?" 💔
In this moving clip, former pastor Ryan Meeks shares the exact moment his evangelical world cracked. After years of praying over every single chair in his church, desperate to "save souls" from eternal fire, he hit a wall of human compassion that his theology couldn't explain.
